Pepper Plant?

I have a 7 inch tall pepper plant that was supposed to mature 4 months after i got it. its now been 6 months. There used to be 3 sprouts, but 2 died, and the remaining one is dying. i water it, i have a grow light, plus i put it in my bathroom for the humidity, but the leaves are still browning. a coule months back i even gave it some plant food fertilizer, and i know i didnt give it too much. does anyone know how to properly grow a pepper plant, or at least keep it alive? i really dont want it to die.

Pepper Plant?
Peppers need good well drained soil and 8hrs. sun per day.

It's winter in the UK so there isn't much sun. Try this useful link.

Reply:I think it needs pollination, and outdoors. When you are watering it,are you using water that has sat out for a couple of days,or using it straight from the tap?If you are using it straight from the tap,it is probably the chlorine in the water. My other guess involves light,as in too much.Try something different, and watch it for a few days. You could cut it back to encourage growth,is the pot too small? That is my final answer!!
Reply:i grow pepper plants every year in my garde. you need to put it outside in a spot where it will get sun for most of the day. no sun, no grow. also, the nutrients in the pot could be gone or the planting mix infected. put it in the ground and in the sun and you will have a big plant with peppers in just a few months. peppers love heat.
Reply:Just the fact that is inside is your biggest problem. They need lots of sun and heat. The humidity might be too much for it also. If you can keep it alive until spring, put it outside. Then after a season outside you should be able to transplant it back inside to make it through the winter.
