Recently, I acquired a bamboo plant. All of the leaves are turning brown. Even the new leaves. HELP!?

The plant was transfered to a larger pot. However, my brother kept sitting the pant outside in 30 degree weather. I have made him leave the plant alone. Is there something I can do to save this plant? It is approx. 18 inches tall.

If the bamboo you have is "lucky bamboo" then you have lost your plant and it will not revive. It requires warmth and protection from freezing.





"Lucky bamboo" isn't really bamboo. It's called that because of the resemblance. Many true bamboo species are capable of surviving freezing although that isn't the best condition for most of them.





If you have a true bamboo then you can possibly bring it back by leaving it be in indirect lighting and watering well when the soil feels dry.
