I got a 2 month old Salvia Divinorum plant from a cutting and it's about 6 inches long. I took all the leaves off to make it more adaptive to my enviroment, but I put a plastic bottle on it to increase the humidity. It's been a couple of days now and it hasn't grown a bit. Is it time to fertilize or am I doing something wrong here???? I know Salvia Divinorum is very sensitive to changes. Any help??? Thanks!
Why is my +Salvia Divinorum+ plant not growing???
I don't understand the part where you took the leaves off to make it more adaptive. The leaves are the only way the plant can make food for itself. If you take the leaves off the plant will starve over time. If the leaves come back let them alone. And don't fertilize it now--fertilizing a plant under stress can also be harmful.
Reply:Instant gratification will not do well with your plant start. You probably sentenced it to death by picking every leaf off--how will it absorb any light? Leave it alone and wait and see what happens. If it starts to turn brown--your stick! then it is dead. The plastic is a good idea.
Reply:It is scared to death. It knows that when it is big enough that u will kill it and smoke it. Plants can talk to each other.
